  1. Practise your short game, anyone can drive a long way but its no good if you cant sink the putt.

    Practise, practise practise,

I would go out to the backyard or to a park and practise my chip shots, I would set up targets and aim for them.

  2. just go to youtube, and type in "tiger woods golf swing" and base your swing off of his... he's the best in the world today because he has a near perfect golf swing. just practice a ton...also practice your backswing in a mirror. thirdly take a video camera to the driving range some day and video your swing...then take it home and compare it to tiger's.

hope this helps. i did the same and my handicap went from 19 to 10.5 but i also had some help with a trainer. but it just takes time...so dont give up hope. and don't forget that sometimes you get worse before you get better, just stick to the changes and you'll see improvement

  3. My answer would be a combination of golf lessons & practice.

I'm a guy who can break 100 almost every time out, but can't consistently break 90.  I took 3 half-hour lessons from a pro in our area for $90.  He provided me with the knowledge of what I need to do to improve.  Now it's up to me to practice, practice, practice.

I'm confident that I can get better if I devote enough time to practicing.  That being said, it's tough to find time to practice with my work schedule.

  4. Start with a couple of golf lessons and a lot of practice in between. You don't have professional trainers. You have teaching pros.It matters not what you drive, it matters on the least strokes to get into the cup.
