How can I improve my tuck?

I'm not sure this is the right area, but since tricking and martial arts are like jam on toast, I figure it's a good place. I'm trying to learn a front flip and I desperately need to improve my tuck. Any advice on how to do so? Also, know of any exercises which could help me develop a habit to have a tight tuck while flipping because doing it consciously proves to be a challenge since so little time is spent in the air. It appears when I tuck I lack the height, and when I stall it means my rotation goes down the drain. I'm hoping if I can improve my tuck I will be able to get the extra height needed and not sacrifice rotation.

  1. i have the SAME EXACT problem,lol,do you land on ur ***?? or in a very crouched position? it sucks,lol,u probably need to tuck ur knees to ur chest then whip them out under you to land,i tried that and thy're somewhat better,or hopstep with ur knees bent,then pop up FAST,and at your peak tuck
