When I am hitting, I tend to hit the ball not as hard as I can because the fear of it going out of bounds. How can I get my wrist snap harder and how can I practice my hitting?

  1. bend your legs before you hit... and then 'snap' your legs straight when you hit it... also, swing you arms and push harder...

  2. Also, make sure that you follow through.  Since you are afraid of hitting the ball out, you might be taking less swing and less follow through.  If you are afraid of hitting it out, you will hit it out.  Follow through.

Make sure your hand is cupped like a volleyball.  If it is flat, it will not impart the topspin to get the ball into the court.

Practice against the wall.  Do not do this drill like everyone else does it.  They hit the ball wherever it is.  If it is the correct height, hit it again.  If it is too low or too far to one side, catch it and toss it again.  Only hit it if it is the correct height.  Hitting it no matter what will teach you how to hit it incorrectly, usually with a bent arm.

  3. i would practice snaping your wrist and just keep practicing till it makes a difference and and habbit.

  4. ok what i would do is get a volleyball, if a gym is open to  use that if not go against a wall- maybe your garage then down ball the ball against your wall but after you hit it pause with you hand snapped(kinda like a basketball shot) up in the air. and then try to hit it harder and harder until you've hit it as hard as you can.
