How can I improve on asvab word knowledge?

I'm studying to retake my asvab and i need to concentrate on word knowledge, however I don't want to study random words out the dictionary any advice on learning words in the WK section of the asvab is helpful.

The ASVAB is just general knowledge.  This is all stuff you should have learned in school.  Go to www.military.com and keep taking the practice tests until you get a feel for the types of questions it is asking.

Go to your local library and get all the asvab books that you can.  Barron;s is probably the hardest....but do all the tests.  you want to score high enough to get an mos that needs a security clearance...so when you leave you can get a higher paying, in demand career.
