How can I increase my GHz?

This is my computer specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.00GHz (2CPU's)

2046MB Ram

Graphic Card: Mobility Radeon HD 2400

OS: Windows Vista

  1. You can over-clock, which is sometimes risky. Otherwise you have to upgrade your processor chip to a faster one, assuming your motherboard can handle it.


  2. Why bother?  Laptops are more for convenience than brute power and a core 2 duo @ 2Ghz is pretty good.  But if it's a real big deal to you, have a think about getting a desktop computer as well, at least they're easier to work on and the problem of extra heat doesn't come into it.

  3. You can't over clock a laptop.  

  4. You have 2 cores, but only one CPU.

    Otherwise, that guy is right. You can overclock or upgrade the CPU. Overclocking is pretty easy for the CPU you have, provided you have a decent heat sink and enough know how. Otherwise, it's rather risky...

    EDIT: yeah, you have a laptop, forget overclocking. laptop heat sinks are too small.
