  1. To increase your max VO2, distance running is by the far the best way. The second best way is to run hills.  Running hills increases your max VO2 and also helps your running form and efficiency.


  2. V02 Max is a measurement of your cardiovascular conditioning.

    So you must do cardiovascular training to improve.

    The easiest way is to run distance.

    You can also bike, swim, cross country ski.

    Anything that trains your system to transport more oxygen.

    You must get into the training percentage of exchange and stay there for at least 15 to 20 minutes to have any effect.

    Run long, run often.  

  3. the most effective way to increase you Vo2 max is to do intervala on the track. ok so intervals are when you jog for a certain number of meters on the track and then run hard on another certain amount of meters and do this continuosly. so for examle you start off by jogging 100 meters on the track and then once you hit the 100 meter mark you run hard for 200 meters and then jog for another 100, you can do this for as many laps as you want and once you get stronger you can increase then number of meters you run hard on, but always remember to jog 100 meters inbetween each hard interval. and when running the fast part fo the interval dont sprint it, go at a pace you can keep the whole way
