How can I increase my psat writing score?

Best way is practice. Buy a book, I recommend the College Board book (and not Princeton Review or anything else) and do the exercises and practice tests.

The exercises also explain some test taking techniques for the writing portion.

Also, for every SAT test that I took, I did the exercises for that section on the Collegeboard website, it's a great way to test yourself before the test and get instant feedback for each answer.
