How can I increase my speed and agility?

I play guard in basketball and I'm pretty good. I play for my school team. My coaches told me that I was a very good player but one of my weaknesses is my speed and agility. I have decent speed and quickness just not great speed or quickness. My question is are there any workouts I can do to increase my speed and agility?

  1. run hill sprints.  if you are familiar with plyometrics try bounding up and sprinting down a steepish hill.  that is my track coach's favorite sprinter work out.

  4. i went to football camp and they told us that a thing called the dot drill would help us change direction faster and to become more agile. it looks like this a hour glass. you just jump in an hour glass shape first with 1 foot then the other, then with both you don't even need the dots you just have to jump in that shape there are other ways to do it beside the hour glass like theres one kind of like hopscotch but its hard to explain you can ask your coaches about it they might know hope i helped

  5. Squats and Box Jumps and stuff like that.  I do them all with jumpsoles.... helped me.  Good look
