  1. No need to worry so long you keep practicing. Forget about fat thighs and age. It doesn't matter anything once you are in water. The "speed" is secondary thing and you will attain that mark only after keeping and continuing swimming. It is immaterial whether you swin in a well designed pool or in a lake or even in a river. Concentrate your entire stamina on breathing deeply and dont try anything else besides "Free Style" at the beginning. Stretch your hands as long as you can and try to float your body on water (don't let stomach and thighs go deep in the water while stroking) and do aim your eyes sideways....not on front view. By this trick, you will have your body on water in much possible straight style which will result in obtaining desirable speed in swimming.

    Best Luck.

  2. You should have regular practice daily minimum 2hrs and evening 2hrs.  REgular intervals you should chek the timings how much you decrease.   Free style is the easiest and can swim fast. You should not take leave regularly. If u go practice

    iregulalry you cant swim faster

  3. Hey, I'm a competitive swimmer! Many people who are very fast in the water naturally have fast twitch muscle fibres. Many people believe that having more fast and slow twitch muscle fibers may determine what sports athletes excel at and how they respond to training.

    Fast Twitch Fibres:

Fast twitch fibers use anaerobic metabolism to create fuel, they are better at generating short bursts of strength or speed than slow muscles. However, they fatigue more quickly. Fast twitch fibers generally produce the same amount of force per contraction as slow muscles, but they get their name because they are able to fire more rapidly. Having more fast twitch fibers can be an asset to a sprinter since she/he needs to quickly generate a lot of force. All Olympic sprinters in any sport most definately have fast twitch fibres.

    Slow Twitch Fibres (Type I)

The slow muscles are more efficient at using oxygen to generate more fuel (known as ATP) for continuous, extended muscle contractions over a long time. They fire more slowly than fast twitch fibers and can go for a long time before they fatigue. Therefore, slow twitch fibers are great at helping athletes run marathons and bicycle for hours.

Fiber type is part of a great athlete's success, but it alone is a poor predictor of performance. There are many other factors that go into determining athleticism, including mental preparedness, proper nutrition and hydration, getting enough rest, and having appropriate equipment and conditioning.

I think that not having access to a swimming pool won't allow you to increase your speed successfully. If it is possible for you to access a pool, then if you can try to research the clubs that train there (if any).

A swimming club will help you achieve your maximume speed in swimming, it will improve your fitness and will perfect your technique. Swim training daily will improve your fitness and your 'feel of the water.' You will feel more comfortable with swimming and you will be introduced to the four strokes used. Butterfly, Backstroke, Breastroke and Frontcrawl. Almost all MAJOR competitive swimmers train at least 8 times a week, change their diets, (eat more protein to gain muscles and carbohydrates before training for sudden releases of energy) and do weight training.

Weight training should always be tried when you've grown fully. It is renouoned for stunting your growth if you are young and not fully grown when you try it. Always get advice from somebody experienced in weight training because it can go disasterous when attempted wrongly. Competitive swimmers use weight training to achieve suden energy bursts. It is used because it enables the swimmer to swim faster with less effort and lactic acid produced.

To make yourself faster in any stroke requires time and effort (mostly within the swimming pool). As I have already said, a coach and swimming club will help you benefit successfully and perform at your very best. Improve your technique with each stroke. Get a technique that suits you best and the stroke best. Also learn the correct technique so that you actually know that you are swimming the right stroke. Lots of dedication and training will improve your times. Do a lot of kick work. Use a kick board in training to quicken your leg speed and fitness. A TIP ON SWIMMING FAST IS TO BREATH LESS (don't breath every stroke except breastroke and backstroke of course)  AND TO STREAMLINE!

The easiest stroke depends on the person swimming it really. It differs with each swimmer and the term "easiest" is an opinion. Breastroke is the stroke most people at my swimming club find easiest, but this can differ from person to person.

The strokes in order of fastest:

    Fastest 1) Frontcrawl

    2) Butterfly

    3)Backstroke

    4)Breastrok

Butterfly and Backstroke can change places, but at higher competition levels e.g. The Olympics, Butterfly is genuinelly faster than Backstroke.

I hope that this information has helped you! Good Luck with swimming!!!

  4. i think that backstroke and breaststroke would be the easiest and fastest

  5. "Focus. Speed." Focus more on your strokes and you'll keep up with the speed.

  6. If u train a few times a week u will graduly get faster.

  7. ur gonna probably have to actually swim. Ur body will get used 2 the motion u used 2 swim. Im sure theres workouts u can find that will also help with that, and u could also lift weights to have more force when u swim. MMM shave all ya hair, it supposibly slows u down but besides that idk, good luck tho.
