How can I increase my vertical enough to dunk?

what is the most efficient way to increase my vertical jump enough to dunk? Right now i'm about 6"1 and 150 pounds. I can grab the rim pretty easily with one hand, and hang. Two hands is a little harder but I can do it... I feel like i'm not that far from dunking, but not quite there...

  1. efficient way to dunk? use court sprints..thats the most effective way. run from baseline up to the free throw area, then back to baseline then to the half court. Your muscles in your thigh will develop this kind of power or extra leverage for quick lightning jump. This is effective as im only 5'8" but can dunk with both hands with power. This is the only method i did use


  2. Just go up with all your power and cram that ****! It'll probably work better when you are angry!

    Also, to dunk your shooting wrist MUST be able to touch rim.

    You also must be able to palm the ball with one hand.

    Since, you can grab the rim already then I think you just need to improve your vertical jump by atleast 2 inches.

    Jump-roping is probably the best way to increase your vertical jump.

  6. this is what i do im 14 and can almost dunk on 10 feet i jump alot and i dunk on a short rim everyday for fun its very fun and if you do it alot you can get good hops also try air alert i dont know how old you are but this works for me
