  1. I am going to assume that you have a pressure tank and it is properly working.

The pump has a pressure switch which has 2 settings. The low setting is the pressure that the system drops to before the pump goes on; the high pressure setting is the maximum pressure the system is permitted to rise to.  Typical max pressure is about 45 psig.  Most minimum pressures are around 25 psig.

    CAUTION!

Raising the pressure to a level over 45 psig is not recommended -  if the pressure is low much of the time, I suspect the low pressure setting is too low and this should be addressed.

Careful as the electric wires are exposed when you adjust the pressure switch.  Do not contact them.

  2. Place a water tank up higher than the house and pump the water up to it.

When you turn on the tap the pressure will be much greater because of the force of gravity.

This is the cheapest way to increase your water pressure.

  3. Check the pressure on the pressure gauge at your water tank. Check also when the pump turns off.   If low, raise the pressure by adjusting the pressure switch.  Most switches are 30-50.  You should also check the pressure of the holding tank.  With the pump off and completely drained down, you should have about 28 lbs of pressure in the tank.  Of course there could be other problems a valve not fully open, stopped up supply lines, etc.

  4. depends on the type of pump u have .....the bet system is an injector pump.....this one is installed in the well casing.......lowered in and the pipe connected to it......we have found that this will increase the supply by as much as 1/3 .....u can push water faster than pulling it ...also check the size of ur pipe.....we use 1" from well to house where tank is and out of softener we come 3/4....

  5. You need to get a reservoir hooked to an on-demand pump.

You can get all of that at Lowes or Home Depot.  They can even show you how to install it (it's not that hard).

While you're at it, you might want to hook an in-line water filter to make sure your well water is nice and clean.
