How can I install "Adobe Flash Player" properly?

I was trying to view a video on youtube and I got this message:

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times... The next day after a few tries I was finally about to install it (I got the message saying it was installed). I restarted the computer and went to youtube. I got the same message. And I've went to several sites and it says I need to have it installed.

I've also searched and tried other things people have suggested and I'm still getting nada. I don't know what to do and I'm at my wits end! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If it helps, I'm using IE7.

  1. Uninstall Adobe Flash Player using these instructions:

    http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewCont...

Make sure all IE7 windows are closed when running the uninstaller tool.

    Then visit http://www.adobe.com/flashplayer to re-install

  2. go to the tools menu then go to internet options and click on delete and then click on delete all and see if that works i had the same problem and that worked for me i hope this helped you out
