B: get a cat 5 crossover cable and plug them in directly

its so simple just connect them by a LAN wire and fill up the my network property as filled while working with internet so by this two laptops get connected and then share the file/folder u want then go to run and give the ip addreess path of shared machine.

so its so simple to share the data...........

Great and Simple method

1. Using Lan Ports make a cat 5 cross cable connection to connect laptop.

2. Use BlueTooth

3. Use WI FI connection in this case u will not require wirless router.

there are several ways to do this depending upon what you are wanting to do with the connection, and what type of hardware you have to work with. If you are just wanting to share some files from one laptop to the other and assuming both laptops have wifi, then i would prolly just create an ad-hoc network anc connect to it with the other laptop, If you are wanting to do something a bit more complex like maybe share an evdo connection with another laptop then i would create a local network between the two laptops and enable internet connection sharing. etc .... if you would like more detailed info, the  modify the question and tell me exactly what you are trying to do and what type of hardware you have to work with.
