How can I jar garlic

I have a lot of garlic and want to jar my own like in stores. How can I do this is there a certain kind of oil to use ? HAVE A GREAT DAY

  1. From what I have read, homemade garlic in oil is only good for about 3 weeks if kept refrigerated.  The combination of oil and garlic is a great breeding ground for botulism.

    It can be dried or frozen for longer term storage.  Here is a link to a site that has a lot of info.
