How can I join a group when I can't read the squiggly writing?

I have been trying to join a group today but it has the squiggly writing automatic registration prevention device. I have made 15 separate attempts but have not yet managed to get through it! My eyesight is quite good - god help me trying to join if my eyesight was less good!

I have not been able to find any means of contacting Yahoo directly about this problem. Surely they must be able to offer an alternative method of verifying I'm a person than illegible scribble?

Get some-one to help you ...

PS also go to you Optician and get an eye test .. this is not a joke, you could have a serious vision problem / eye disease ..

use the lisen option for blind people it is a small speaker next to it...

You might need to update your computer if you're unable to read it. If you can't answer that correctly you cannot join a group at all.

What you might want to do is also try a different browser.

Are you using IE6 or 7? or an older one?

Are you talking about those random numbers/letters that you have to type in and they have to match?

If you are, those are very annoying sometimes...you just have to keep trying until you get one you can actually read...I agree that a lot of them seem impossible to actually know what is there..but, just keep trying.
