Question:

How can I jump higher!! ?

Right now I have two 25 lbs Dumbbell free weights.(50 lbs total) I hold them down to my sides, then I plant my feet, then lift myself up onto the balls of my feet to work the calf muscle, then back down and back up onto the balls of my feet. Is there any other advice on how I could jump higher? That doesn't cost anything..

  1. Use your weights for box jumps.  I would start off with no weights jumping on a box or milk crate or anything you can find that is about 10-12 inches high. I would start with three to five sets of 20. when this becomes to easy add the first 25lb dumbell holding it with two hand in the center of your chest. and there again when that gets easier add the other weight. and also besure to raise the height of the box over time.
