  1. Eat them and stop buying big amounts.

  2. keep the ones that are ripe away from them.

i would buy those green bags (the ones that commercials have been promoting). you can buy those at the grocery stores, but they really work and filter out the oxidation. plus its reusable up to 10 times! works great!

  3. There are these green bags you can buy at a CVS drugstore that you put produce in and it protects the fruit from the gas they give off that makes them ripen too fast which means they will stay fresher longer.

  4. I agree with yuckmouf,... don't buy large amount of ripe bananas as for me.. i buy every other day.

  5. Peel them and freeze them in a large baggie~delicious !

  6. keep them cold, their peel will turn black, but stay good inside.

try those green bags, I am the next time I buy bananas.

buy them on the green side so they have time to ripe before rot.

don`t buy more then you can eat.

  7. I've heard that keeping them in the fridge (as other people suggested) keeps them fresh. The skin will turn black but the banana is OK inside.

I tried the Green Bags and the bananas were completely rotten in 2 days. they lasted 4-5 days just sitting on the shelf. Not sure if there was something I was supposed to do before putting them in the bag or not.

  8. The best thing to do is keep them elevated on a banana rack and keep them cool... Keep them together and when you tear one off the bunch, tear off the stem too... Don't leave it there...  Also if you buy alot of bananas you want to make sure they are greenish yellowish, so they dont ripen to fast, if you dont eat them that quickly

  9. use bags called everfresh bags ,copy and paste this link

  10. Refridgerate

  11. those new betty crocker green bags.

    their new.

  12. eat them......

  13. you can peel them, then put them in the freezer.

  14. refrigerated

  15. Putting them in the freezer will brown the outside, but the inside should be fine.

  16. Yes putting them in the freezer makes them turn really really brown, you only do that if you want to make Banana cake or something to make them "ripen" faster.

I suppose try the fridge, it might be worth going to the supermarket and asking them how they keep all their banana's fresh - i would say it would be refridgeration of some sort.

Otherwise i suppose you could buy about 100 of these:
