How can I keep blueberries from sticking to the bottom of a cake?

  1. ...try cooking a little before tossing them in-


  2. Dredge the berries in flour prior to adding them to the cake batter.  This works with anything you may add to a batter- chocolate chips, nuts, raisins, fruit, etc.  

  3. Spray your pan w/ Pam or just wipe w/ butter or margarine to keep from sticking

    Also, make sure you lightly drop your blueberries in after you put your mix in your cake or muffin container  

  4. Roll them in flour before adding them to the cake batter. The weight of the flour should help them stay put. This also works for nuts, chocolate chips, etc.
