  1. Before u pot up your plants, cut a small peice of window screen to cover the wholes in the planter. This prevents the buggies from getting up the hole.

  2. mmmmmmm,interesting question.

    With little knowledge of pot plants I'm unsure.I would consult a potioligist.

    Good Luck and happy dreams

  3. i would suggest looking in the gardening department at your local: home depot, lowe's, etc. to find a floral bug spray that is safe for plants but will kill the bugs living in your plants, pay attention to the time span for them to come back and then begin spraying on a regular basis.. most of the time it is almost impossible to prevent but easy to rid them from your plants..

    goodluck =)

  4. Dish soap and also a vegetable oil and water mix works.

    But if you know the type of insect that is attacking, then while you are fighting the battle with soap and oil, go on line and type in Beneficial Insects, or the  term I.P.M. it means integrated pest management.

    You will find a number of sites selling beneficial insects that will keep the number of BAD BUGS down to a livable level.

       I use this method in a huge commercial greenhouse range on vegetable and herb plants with very little worry and almost no spray of any kind.

      It is kind of fun also!   that is my personal opinion.

  5. You could spray your potted plants with a mixture of water and Joy dish detergent.
