How can I keep cats out of my yard without disturbing the rabbits and squirrels?

I have wild rabbits, chipmunks and squirrels in my yard which I enjoy watching. The cats kill the baby rabbits and other small animals, and use my gardens for a catbox. I don't want to lose all by deterring the cats.

  1. Go to your local animal shelter and get a cat trap. They will empty it for you when you call. After the owner pays the fines enough times, they will be a more responsible cat owner.

  2. seems like it

  3. HOW DARE YOU! CATS ARE THE BEST THINGS IN THE WORLD! but if they're giving you trouble... i guess you could put out a dish of tuna in your neighbor's yard... LOL then they would go to his/her yard not yours.

  4. put out orange peelings cats hate the smell.

  5. You could try fencing in your yard, the chipmunks and squirrels would be fine, but I don't know how the rabbits could get in. Do you know who owns the cats? If you do, you could try talking to them and maybe they could fence in their yard so the cats stay in the yard. I hope I helped :)

  6. Gather some dog or coyote turds and place them aesthetically around your perimeter.  Replace every few days or after a heavy rain.

  7. The only way I found was to send my terrier out to chase 'em.
