  1. Do nothing.

They'll die back in the first frosts and spring back into growth next year.

  2. Many fuschias ARE hardy, can survive outside in winter, SOME are not, frosts will kill them. Suspect ones can be kept in a cool place indoors, with plenty of light, don't keep TOO wet. I do love standard fuschias, and these need to be brought in for protection in winter as they are being trained/grown taller each year otherwise your seasons growth and possibly the whole plant gets clobbered by frosts.

  3. strip back all the leaves and the twiggy bits, and just leave the main woody bit of the plant, and it will all grow again next year

  4. Just leave them. Mine thrives on neglect and it's years old.

  5. I've had one in my front garden for over 20 years.  I spent years trying to get rid of it as I didn't like it, but it still comes back year after year.  I've now given up and learnt to love it, so I don't think you need to do anything !!

  6. Once they have finished flowering, you should cut the twigs off level with the ground so that the frost cant harm the plant and then next year your fuchsia will flourish again.

You can also take cuttings early next year before the flowers and have new plants, just put cuttings in pots with a little root powder.
