when he's asleep in his carseat? He's in a rear facing seat that reclines but his head still falls forward and I'm worried that it'll hurt his neck.

  1. If he's sleeping peacefully, then there is no worry.

The worry is with very young infants who can't pick their head back up.

  2. try to push the seat back a bit

  3. we have that problem with my baby brother.

try giving your baby a stuffed animal (on the bigger side) so when he falls asleep and leans he'll be resting on the stuffed animal...but still keep an eye on him just in case that doesnt work out

  4. LET THE BABY FALL AND AFTER A WHILE THE BABY WILL REALIZE DAM THIS DOESNT FEEL GOOD WHEN I FALL ON MY FACE THUS LEARNING HOW T USE CERTAIN MUSCLES TO KEEP HIM OR HERSELF UPRIGHT..NO IM JUST PLAYIN THE BABY IS FINE I HAVE 4 KIDS AND THEY ALL DID THAT IN THE CAR SEAT IM ASSUMING YOUR CHILD IS VERY YOUNG. AFTER AWHILE HE WILL KEEP HIS HEAD UP THIS IS A NORMAL OCCURANCE.

  5. if you can, put him a little lower in his car seat so he is at less of an angle, and his head will rest on the back instead of falling forward.

Its probably important to fix that right away because if you get into an accident his neck could be very badly injured.

  6. you can get a little head rest thing for the carset

  7. The seat should be reclined to thirty degrees.  30 is safe, upright is not.  That is what I know.  Please take my advice!

  8. recline the seat more or you can get a different car seat.... or just pull the strap a little higher... but i dont think it will hurt ur baby... but if you are really worried than i think they sell these things (just for cases like you) that you can put on the babys head and then it attaches to the car seat with velcro.

    good luck!

  9. with the seat belts in the right place he shouldnt be doing that but i would try telling him to wake up that would work

  10. I know, it really does look SO uncomfortable, doesn't it? I did some checking on that when mine were little too, and they're actually fine that way. Their muscles aren't as tight as ours when they're little, so it doesn't hurt them like it would us.

Check out eBay, I think they have little horseshoe-shaped pillows that help keep their head from lolling around. It's like a smaller version of the one that goes around the top of their head in some carseats. It just tucks under the chin instead. My youngest had one, only because someone gave it to us, so I know they're available.

    Hope this helps!

  11. Push his head backwards.

  12. put a blanket between his head and the car seat for more support of the head
