This is my first garden ever & I am really excited about how well its doing but.... My dogs are destroying it. They have a huge yard to run & play in but they are constantly tearing out my corn & tomatoes.

  1. put them in a leash in the house

  2. If you don't have the time to train them then the easiest solution would be to fence the area off.

If you don't want to build a fence, then you could use an "invisible fence" type solution where you bury an wire around the plot where the dogs can't go, and the dogs wear a collar that will beep and give a shock if they cross it.

  5. pour house hold ammonia around the border of the garden.  the dogs will see this as another animals territory

  6. Truly a fence is the ONLY way to go. It doesn't have to be much, a couple of  2x4's and some chicken wire. I have 2 dogs myself and have tried everything from red pepper  to planting marigolds to that smelly c**p from lowe's. I planted my first veggie garden ever this year. It turned out great! All but the fact that what was edible my dogs have either chewed on it or peed on it. Next year I will put up a fence.

  7. it's called 'a fence'...

at Lowe's or any other home store or hardware, there's inexpensive roll fencing made of coated wire... there's metal poles to hang it on that you just pound into the soil..... and it's nearly invisible if you get the dark green..... you can take it down and move it if needed somewhere else, too.... one time investment and you'll have it.... if you're going to have  dogs and a garden, you have to have a fence.....

  8. Beat their azz
