It's hunting and occasionally killing birds.

  1. Spray them with water but you can't really keep them out. Maybe you could use bird scarers to keep the birds at a safe distance. If the cat is coming into your house through your standard cat flap why not upgrade it to the Pet Porte microchip cat flap.

  2. Get a motion activated sprinkler. Works like a charm and no harm!

  3. My cat hates the smell of vinegar so I spray it around any areas I don't want him. But I only use it outside.I hate the smell too.

  4. Get a sonic cat repeller.  You can get them from RSPB, B&Q, ebay etc.  Cost about £30.  You set this small device in your garden and it keeps cats away - apparently !

  5. do you really want to know how to "lose"cats from your garden,,,if yes read on,

you will however be so unpopular with your cat loving neighbours it may well start a war.,,still here well here it is,

1,buy a water bazooka and zap em in your garden(cats hate water)

2,buy an electronic cat scarer(about £20.00)the noise they dont like.

3.buy an air rifle and shoot them,,,anonymously of course,

4.and most effective of the lot plant lilies everywhere in your garden,

the cats walk thru the lilies and get the pollen on their fur, which they l**k off and die in agony days later,,,

but then do you really hate cats that much,,,i know i do!

  6. If  you get some used T-bags, put some deap heat on them, or similar smelling muscle rub. They wont be back again (its totally harmless).

  7. Strangely enough, this is what cats do.

Its natures way of ensuring that the fittest survive, a cat will only catch those that are too slow and would probably be taken by a bird of prey.

More to the point, the cat is also keeping your garden clear of mice and more likely, rats.

We have many feral cats on the farm, and they do a stirling job of pest control, because without them we would soon be overrun with starlings and mice.

Now if you had said the cat was digging your flower borders now thats a different matter - visit your local garden centre and buy an ultrasonic cat scarer, you can't hear it but they can't stand it.

  8. Get yourself a dog, or a bb gun.

  9. Do you have a hose? Just wait till the cat comes in and give it a squirt. Do this a couple times and it will soon learn to keep its distance.

Or hardware stores do sell many forms of cat repellant.

  10. This is I'm afraid a perfectly normal reaction for cats, my cat also hunts and kills rabbits, birds, shrews etc etc.  There are plenty of products on sale in pet shops for deterring cats the cheapest way is to throw water over them (cold) they soon get fed up with that.

  11. citrus friut peel. just scatter it around your garden boundaries

  12. PUT RUBBER TOY SNAKES DOWN IN YOUR GARDEN IT WORKED FOR ME I USED TO GET LOADS OF CATS COMMING IN MY GARDEN AND NOW THE RUBBER SNAKES ARE THERE THEY DONT COME IN

  13. move interstate

  14. tell the neighbours say i dnt want youre cat in my garden

  15. On day 1, tell your neighbor you are highly allergic to ALL types of cats. The next day, tell your neighbor that you have a HUGE rat and  rodent problem in your garden. They'll catch on pretty quickly.

  16. Also orange or citrus peels spread around the garden have been known to help.

  17. Get a water gun and fill it up with vinegar and when you see the cat in the yard spray it with it.  It's harmless but it will begin to associate vinegar with your yard and will keep out of it.
