I just bought a new fishing tackle storage box and the dividers are really loose and my hooks and such are sliding out into the next compartment under the divider. Is there a way that I can glue these dividers down so not to affect any lures or soft baits?

  1. Mine too then I got a hot flash Remember when we were kids. I don't know about you but I got into a lot a trouble with the wood burning kit. :} just melt it a little bit while adding a little pressure let go in a sec or 2 and your done. Have a good day. O and PS do it out side or your wife will sound like your mother. LOL

  2. Take the lures out then mix up some epoxy resin, use a sewing needle to carefully apply it to the bottom and sides of the divider and put into the place you want them.

  3. Try a hot glue gun. It's strong enough for this task, and hardens immediately as soon as it cools down unlike most glues which require time for evaporation. The glue is actually just a type of plastic, and shouldn't affect the contents of the tackle box.

  4. The hot glue does work in the long term or in rough handling.  I've had success with a dab epoxy glue, or crazy glue (depending upon the plastic).

    Good luck
