How can I keep weeds from growing between the bricks on my brick and sand patio?

  1. Spray with a good weed killer! Or do it the old fashion way and keep picking them out, plus it'll save you money on what you would spend on that expensive spray. Good luck!


  2. they do make a soil sterilizer, but I do not recommend that as it might kill other plants with roots under your bricks. when weeds pop up between my bricks I boil a pot of water in the tea kettle and pour it on the weeds, within a few hours they turn black and are dead. if you do this once a week it will look great

  3. weed spray you can buy some at your local hardware store-lowe's or home depot

  4. Spray them with Round-UP.

  5. You can't.  but when they do come through, then you can deal with them using a good weedkiller. Weeds thrive in sand, and because of that, what you could have done to prevent their protrudence, would have been to put a sheet of black plastic, between the sand and the brick, weeds need light to grow, and by doing this, would have deprived them of light so no weeds.   Round-up is a favorite weedkiller
