How can I know if a job posting in Craigslist is a scam????

please answer I really need to know....

I have been sending my resume and cover letter to a lot of job postings in Craigslist and I haven't gotten any answer back....

Use Google to search for whatever information you have about the ad.  If there is an email address, search for that.  

I'm not sure what types of postings you're applying for but just use this rule of thumb:  if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

You can usually tell by the email address. I would never respond blindly to the automatic craigslist reply, or any of the free email addresses like gmail, yahoo, aol, etc. Only reply to legitimate company-branded email addresses, i.e. [e-mail]

Do you have a professional resume?

When I was first job hunting, I sent out tuns of resume's and got maybe, 2 responses. I had tons of experience and was available ASAP.

A lot of times, depending on your email address, your name, and location, really depends on how soon they will respond to you.

We do Employee Referral Programs at my work and I've been posting ads for jobs available... I then judge each email depending on how professional their email and resume is.. also depending on full experience.  Then I email possible candidates with the actual application and they list me as the referral...
