How can I know my IQ if I never have the patience to sit through an online IQ test?

I know I don't have an extremely low IQ, but whenever I start taking the tests, I usually get all the ones in the beginning/middle correct, and then I lose patience/attention and guess on the rest..(and get them mostly wrong). Then I'll get numbers like 80/90 for my IQ -_-"

I managed to sit through a 100 question test and got a score a 148..so I'll say 80/90 is wrong..

How can I build patience for those annoying testes/ and are there shorter ways to test one's IQ?

There are many IQ tests online and most of them far fewer than 100 questions. Just google IQ tests.

1) Online IQ tests are VERY unreliable, inaccurate, and invalid.  Don't trust them.  And don't waste your time with them.

2) The best measures of IQ are professionally administered standardized IQ tests that you take in person from an individual who is specifically trained in using and scoring the particular test.  These can take well over an hour, sometimes much longer.

3) Is knowing your IQ really all that important?  The IQ tests were developed because school administrators needed to know what class to put children into - they needed a scientific way to put kids of similar intelligence and learning ability together to maximize learning in the classroom.  It really has no practical use beyond an educational setting, so why bother?  It won't tell you how well you'll do in life or whether you know more than the jackass who lives next door.  Intelligence is relative anyway.

When your taking a test, look at one section at a time. dont think about the whole test cause then you will just feel overwhelmed and then you will start thinking about every where else you could be and then it just wont turn out good. you are most likly a very smart person and you just dont like sitting there answering questions that you probably already know the anser to. just try and look at it in sections instead of the whole thing.

IQs mean nothing. relax. My sister apparently had a high one and I had a lower one, She didn't have to study to get A's and B's.. I studied my rear off and made straight A's. I have NO attention span. hehe.. .but I made it through college and into my career just fine.
