How can I know the status of my k1 visa after interview

I was interviewed last July 16 at US embassy for my visa application,

I received pink paper then and asked to pay for visa delivery fee, no additional documents asked. But its almost 3 weeks now and visa still not received. does anyone know how can i follow status of my visa? do you have number of US embassy to call regarding this matter? or is this a normal timeline process?

  2. Generally 3 weeks is a short amount of time.  Please do not get worried.  The K1 process takes time and I am sure you have had a lot of anxiety.  

    Check the website of the US embassy you were interviewed at.  Most major embassies, Philippines, Mexico City etc, have a link to information for the visa status.  

    Also ask your Husband/Wife to check the status by calling the embassy.  

    Join visa journey and continue to search for resources to your question.  I guarantee many other people have gone through this and will be able to offer advice.  

  3. The reasons for wait will dictate the waiting period. You should find out what is the normal waiting period before someone can make an inquiry from the US Embassy. Embassy in each country has different rules.

  4. Everything just takes time to process correctly.  You will just have to wait in line with the others that filed before you.
