How can I know when the song that I download in LimeWire contains virus?

someone told me to be careful when downloading songs in limewire 'coz they might contain virus, how should i know?

Save the file and find the file then right click and there should be a option to scan with your antivirus or antispyware. Use both a antivirus and a antispyware. Also if there is a virus don't run it and just delete it.

Install an antivirus :-)

You should always have an antivirus, specially if you like to "download" files from unknown sources.
