Okay, I'm a male 23 year old. My father decided to not ever teach me about vehicles. I seriously don't know jack except how to change the tires if I have a flat, put in more windshield wiper fluid, change the wipers, and maybe other petty tasks.

Anyone know of a real good website for complete noobs? I want to know what happens to gasoline, what moves the pistons, etc.

Pretty much just like I know everything about computers like the CPUs, mobos, RAM, overclocking, etc.

Thanks and no FLAMING!!!

  1. http://www.familycar.com/Classroom/

  2. Go to Wyotech...http://wyotech.edu-program.info/ or

    uti...http://www.uti.edu/

Or even at your local college...there may be an automotive course available..

I got my start at a technical school here in nyc and then its just a matter of picking the brains of other technicians and getting your hands dirty.

5hit...you can even incorporate your knowledge of computers into the automotive trade.

    Good luck!

  3. Well you can start by talk to a shop or get a book?
