  1. Find someone who could help you with the Italian language, someone who could teach you on the Internet (e.g. MSN, Yahoo). Anyway, there's no other way to do it but with direct contact with the language, and that means contact with Italian speaking people, or reading Italian texts (and there are many Italian literature books), or even watching Italian movies with English subtitles (or viceversa, watching an English movie with Italian subtitles). I'm Italian and that's what I've always told my friends who I teach Italian to.

  6. Italian is not difficult and being a Latin language words from it have been stolen and appear in English and other languages too.

Here is an Italian giving FREE Italian languages lessons on Youtube.  Start here and keep going and good luck.

P.S.  I've just come back from a weeks holiday in Sorrento.  You can get by without knowiny any Italian due to it being a major holiday resort, but people there and everywhere in Italy will appreciate you knowing some Italian.

Remember, when speaking Italian to use your hands as well.  The Italians are animated speakers.  Thankfully being Welsh, so am I and I found to my amazement most Italians understood my gestures.  So it's true then, some of the Welsh are left-over Romano Britons. . . hmmm!

You may think that using hand gestures while speaking Italian is unimportant, but it's probably the most important aspect of the language and forms a part of it. See it and speak it etc.

Now for something completely different - Speaking Italian the Monty Python method.

If this next does not move you to tears, then you have no hope of ever being like an Italian - enjoy, let the tears flow down your cheeks.  The late great Lucciano Pavaroti - like no one else.

  7. is easy!

I am Italian but I love English and I would both be English ...

(I am writing with the translator ahahhaha)

the Italian language is simple because it is pronounced as we read ..

For example, you have to say cat read Chet .. instead we Gatto says Gatto and writes in the same way!

I do not know if I explained!

  8. Take Italian classes, go to Italy, watch Italian films.
