Question:

How can I lighten my hair with Henna?

I have very dark brown hair (like the avatar), but during the summer it got some natural sun highlights. I added equal parts of honey, water, and peroxide to a half full bottle of conditioner, with some added olive oil. Since using this, my hair has gotten even more highlighted. I want my brassy highlights to be light golden red/light auburn, and I have rainbow henna dye in that shade.

Will this work?

The peroxide is also quite drying, even with lot's of conditioner. I was hoping the henna will somewhat thicken my thin frizzy curls, and make them a little more conditioned. Any input?
