  1. Really big ears

  2. I assume you are talking about radio communications if so go to liveatc.net

  3. where i live people get arrested for this. or maybe they where transmitting on there frequency.

    i would try ebay?

  4. liveatc.net

  5. go to www.maplin.co.uk

there is a radio you can buy that will tap into aircraft radios

i think the price is steep though

it takes a bit of lookin for

but it has got 200 channels

  6. It is supposedly illegal to listen to aircraft in the U.K., but if you choose to do so, a scanner will fit the bill.

In the U.S., it's entirely legal and you can find scanners easily in electronics stores.

  7. You need a radio receiver that tunes the aircraft communications

band, which runs from 118.0 to 135.9 megacycles or megahertz.

Manchester (New Hampshire) tower frequency is 121.3 mc. and

ground control is 121.9, but you may not be able to hear them if

you live very far away.  Radio receivers that tune those frequencies

are available, but they may be overpriced.  It is NOT illegal to listen

to those frequencies, but you may not transmit on them unless you

are in an aircraft.  You could build your own by converting an old

FM radio receiver which goes from 88 to 108 mc.

Hope this helps answer your question.
