  1. I use headphones that are plugged into my mobile phone. I usually listen to the radio.

  2. You can get helmets with bluetooth enabled ear pieces (Caberg make one called the Viper) then get your ipod get a bluetooth adaptor plug it in and pair them up. Wouldnt advise it though, you'll probably be in an accident due to not paying attention, an accident or worse!

  3. DO NOT!!!!!!!

Your safety on a bike demands 120% of your concentration.  No time for radio, etc.

    Tomcotexas.

  4. MP3 player (head phones)

But i really dont advise it. They dont have radios for a reason. With headphones in you wont be able to hear your engine AND most improtantly ON COMING TRAFFIC

  5. If you want to listen to music... Buy a car...

Problem with that is there will be another inatentive driver on the road not looking for the motorcycle thats coming up behind...........

New there was a reason I like my bike exaughst LOUD..

  6. Actually, it may be illegal in your state, to wear any type of music player (with headphones). as that becomes a distraction.

  7. That would depend on weather you have a fairing on it or not. Cycle-sound is a good company. There are devices that you can mount to the handle bars to mount a radio.

  8. Install a radio, Or pipe an mp3 player through some speakers.

  9. Doesn't your bike make its own sweet music ?

  10. I agree that you need to check the laws in your state.

I take my MP3 player with me on long trips. I like the way it cuts down on the bordom. I just put them in my ears and pull the helmet down over them. The actual player is just hanging from a lanyard around my neck. I agree that it blocks a lot of your hearing, but you can't hear much on the highway anyhow. It's a risk, but it's minor in my opinion. After all, riding a motorcycle is risky anyway, and in some ways it keeps me more alert when I have been on the road for a long time.

I don't like the bike mounted stereos because it forces everyone else to listen to what you are listening to. That may also be illegal in your state. I know that here you can get a ticket if an officer can hear your music from his cruiser. My friend just got a ticket for that when he was driving his car.

    Good luck.
