How can I locate a specific boat in Alaska?

I'm trying to find an Alaskan fishing tender (boat) that was owned by my deceased cousin in the mid-1990s. He worked out of Whittier. We are curious where the boat is today and if it is still being used. Is there any Alaskan sites that can help me? Or a state department? (I live in the lower 48).

you can look up most boats over 5 tons on it (approx 30 foot or larger)

if not try yellow pages of Whittier, look for boat companies, fisheries, boat repairs, most of the companies once you tell them why your looking for the boat, will tell about where a boat can be found.
