How can I locate and enter a Yahoo group?

I'm trying to find and enter a Yahoo group but the search says it doesn't exist, which is false. What else can I do?

Are you already a member of this Group?  If so, then it should be in the list at http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups .

If you aren't already a member of the Group, you still have a couple options.  (1) If it's a new Group, wait 24 hours after your first search, then try again.  It can take new Groups up to a full day to appear in search results.  (2) If that doesn't work, then it's probably an unlisted Group.  If this is the case, you'll need to get someone who's a member of that Group to send you the web address (URL) of the Group's home page (from where you can become a member by clicking the Join This Group button on the right-hand side of that page).
