How can I look and see what I'm shooting through the LCD screen instead of the viewfinder? (NIKOND80!!)

I've heard you can do that., please help?!

AND ANY OTHER TIPS WITH NIKON D80's!?!

  1. The D80 does not have live view.   You can only see the image after capture on the screen.   The owner's manual is chock-full of "tips".


  2. Only when using the Nikon D3, D700 or D300 ... it is called live view and is only used when shooting through microscopes, telescopes and when you can attach the camera to an AC adapter as in studio product photography.

    Holding a 2 pound camera at arm's length is just asking for camera movement and blurred shots.

    BTW, who told you that you could do that with your camera?

    this camera doens't have live view.

    This is a digital SLR Not a point and shoot camera.

    you can't necessarily expect this in your camera.

    you have to use the view finder, and there's nothing wrong with that, if you want the quality of a SLR, live view is sacrificed.
