How can I look up an old newspaper article?

Looking for article on an armed robbery done in roseville, ca in march 1994 at 7-11

  1. the easiest way is to go to roseville and look it up in their newspaper files

    if they don't have a newspaper, you look up the nearest newspaper.

    Many large libraries (like in SF and LA would have most of the newspapers from around the state , on computer or microfiche.


  2. if it was mentioned in your local times newspaper i'd go to a university library and check their archives..when i needed an old article I went to UTEP because it came out in the El Paso Times

  3. Call the paper in the town. See if they have it in their "morgue." From 1994, I doubt if they have it online. They may have it on microfiche.

    You'll probably have to go to the newspaper office to see it, though. Most newspapers won't do the work for you.

  4. all you need is to go to the local or nearest library and they should have it. Or you can go to the state library (melbourne) and they  most likely will have it. If all that fails, try to search it up on the net.
