How can I lose 10 pounds without too much effort?

I'm 19 and reasonably atheltic. I start a physiotherapy degree where I'll have to walk around in class practicals in my underwear- so I want to lose 10 pounds by the time that starts in 7 months.

How can I lose 10lbs without running a marathon each day and living on a lettuce leaf. I want it to be effortless.
