How can I lose WEIGHT?

OK SO this is the exercise I do weekly -

- 1 hour at the gym three times a week

- Walk 60 minutes 5 times a week

- Skateboard most days for an hour and all day on one day of the weekend

SO HOW CNA I IMPROVE MY EATING AND/OR EXERCISING SO that I can SHED THE KILOS?

ULTIMATELY it would be nice to lose five kilos. Is it possible in two months?

    Being overweight can be burdensome due to the society's stigma towards one and that's why I have decided to lose weight. Medical end problems are the results of not losing weight such as cancer, diabetes type 2 and I have decided not to be a victim. The most recommended is exercises which is helpful if done properly and one could engage in Walking, Running, Stretching, Stair climbing, Jogging et cetera, also switch to foods less in calories like vegetables and fruits, and sleep well with sufficient intake of water. This will help to lose weight, boost self-esteem and not be at risk to health problems.


  2. If you do all this exercise and follow the food pyramid that nutritionists recommend, then you will have no problems achieving this weight loss.

    So many people have a huge fear of carbs, but you need them when you exercise a lot because they provide the fuel required for sustenance. I wish you all the best with achieving your goal.


  3. Eliminate junk calories.  Even eliminating one soda a day will reduce your weight by 18 pounds.  Foods to avoid are fried potatoes, sodas, sweets, alcohol, processed breads/grains, etc.  Go to fitday.com and it will open your eyes.

    Yes, its possible if you cut down the amount of food you eat daily. Eat more fruit and vegetable and less sweet and candy. This is the best way.

    Now if you want to exercise as well good for yourself, but don't get paranoid about your weight.

  5. you should eat the healthy food and try to stop eating unhealthy food like soda( cause i don't drink it , and i'm Very thin:))

    you can probably lose that amount if you are constantly exercising and eating health food.

  6. with all that exercise you are probably closer to the weight you want to be at than you realize ... with all that exercise you gain muscle mass and muscle weighs more than fat - also it retains more water which add more weight . But if you wish to shed Kilos that are simply fat, then eat less foods that contain empty calories and eat a lot of fiber. Fiber is harder to digest = more calories burned when digesting. Also fiber is amazing for your digestive system. Here are some really good foods to eat that are delicious:

    • apples

    • salad (be careful with the extra dressing!)

    • carrots

    • celery with peanut butter

    • fiber one cereal (tastes amazing!)

    • oat meal

    • cream of wheat

    • whole wheat crackers and bread

    and yes, 5 Kilos will be possible to lose in two months.

  7. if you eat fewer calories than you burn in a day, you lose weight up to the point where your body's natural build kicks in.  start by getting an idea of how many calories you need by using a calculator.  webmd has one.  it is a guideline, but a place to begin.  take that number, and stay a couple hundred under it.  you should lose weight at that point.  if not, drop 200 more calories and so on.
