Question:

How can I lose my pudge?

I'm not fat, and most people say I'm the smallest girl they've ever seen. But then I have a little pudgey stomach that just ruins it.

I've been doing 50 crunches, 50 side crunches, 50 situps, 50 bicycle crunches, and a few pushups. I've also been drinking mostly water.

I started all this like 3-4 days ago. My upper stomach area is soo sore and I really don't see much of a difference.

So, does anyone know any other stuff I can do to get at least some of my pudge off and perhaps a flat stomach?

I can't run or walk because my Mom is paranoid about me walking around where we live. So I'm stuck in my bedroom doing excersises every night.

Help PLEASE! :(

  1. You should get a gym membership and do cardio along with your sit ups. Or ask your mom to drive you to a field (like maybe at your school) so you could run (you could even run with your mom).

  2. A friend of mine is doing isagenix and lost 4 inches off her tummy so far. It's only been 3 days.

    Check out out: http://tonyhhisc.isagenix.com/us/en/nine...

Women lose more inches and men lose more weight on this program I heard.

  3. um quit eating so much fattyyyyyyyy

  4. If most people say you are the smallest girl they have ever seen, I would say that you probably look just fine.

It takes 8-12 weeks to notice a difference from muscle training.  Also you need to rest the muscles you work out for a few days in between each workout.  Otherwise you can actually overwork those muscles and they won't grow or be toned.

Situps and crunches are good, but to burn the fat...heavy aerobic activity is the best.  The key is to be burning more calories than you are taking in.  I would suggest keeping a log of what you eat and how many calories are in it.  Then do a google search for how many calories are burned during certain activities and plan your workouts accordingly to burn enough calories.

  5. It will take sometime...possibly 2 wks to notice.

  6. the best way to get rid of a pudge is diet that sit-up stuff only builds muscel under your fat

  7. its not going to work after a couple of days! just be patient!

  8. running is the best way to lose weight especially in the stomache area, so i wouldnt cross off running totally because you cant go outside.

you could try running on the spot for twenty mins - get your herat rate up and your sweat on.

    or get a tread mill.

but if you seriously dont like running try swimming laps in a pool at a reccenter or something.

After a week of doing this type of cardio you should see a difference in your stomache!

    goodluck!

  9. well crunches and such dont take away the fat, it tones your muscles and makes them stronger, but it doesnt take away fats.

you need to do cardio like running in order to lose fats.

but since you say you cant  run, bicycle or swim instead or something.

  10. It will take a whole month to see results (sorry.)

You might want to add scissor kicks to your workout.  Lie on your back with your feet 1 inch off the ground and kick.  Be sure to work your lower stomach as well as your upper or you will just make your lower stomach pudge look bigger. Remember to suck it in ALL the time.  Then you will start doing it without paying attenntion.

  11. 1) you don't get muscular from 4 days of excercise

    2) no protein= no muscle

3 ) you need to work on your entire core muscles and back muscles if you want to look slimmer

    4) drinking too much water bloats you up

meals: have an eight inch plate fill half with dark green vegetables and the 1/4 with lean protein like chicken or lean steak fill another 1/4 with a whole grain high fibre like whole grain rice-if you don't like whole grain rice put a teaspoon of fibre powder in your white rice before you cook it.

when your hungry grab a fruit like a banana or apple

drink 8 cups of water or 64 ounces of water.

sit ups aren't that great because after you come up half way it works on your thigh muslces not youir core muscles so just do crunches, planks v sits and boat sits.

use those big excercise balls and use that as a chair when you're on the computer or watching tv this forces you to work on your core muscles even when you sit it makes you sit up very straight and constantly keep your balance.

DO NOT EXCERCISE WITHOUT EATING before excercising eat a banana 15 minutes before your work out because the banana gives you enough energy to burn more calories.

when an excercise feels to easy for you go to youtube and find an excercise video, theres lots there ford models has a yoga/pilates/dance routine thats really good

you might want to get those self heating packs they're useful for your cramps

    when  your

  12. here is a workout plan from seventeen magazine that is supposed to flaten out ur abs...

    1. cross knee lifts: A. Using a sturdy table or steps of a staircase, place hands slightly more than shoulder-width apart. Stand on balls of feet (like in a push-up) B. Lift knee across stomach, turning hips. Repeat on other side= one set. Do 20 reps.

    2. Leg Lifts: A. sit on edge of chair with knees bent and soccer ball at feet. Raise your knees up bringing feet off floor. B. Use abs to lift legs up and over ball, but never let feet touch the floor. To complete rep, return feet to position A. Do 6 reps.

3.Knee-to-elbow lifts: A. Lie on mat with left hand behind head. Bend knees; place feet flat on floor.B. Use your abs to lift elbow to right knee (don't just turn elbow in). Do 15 on each side.

    4. Curl-ups: A. sit on floor, hands flat and slightly behind you. Start with bent knees and feet off floor. B. Lean back, extend legs (not all the way) for one count. Return to start. Do 12 reps.

    5. Dead Bug: A. Lie down holding a 2-lb.weight in each hand. Start with left arm overhead and left knee lifted. B. Take five seconds to lower left limbs as you lift right arm and right leg. Do for one minute.

do these moves for fifteen minutes three days a week and you should have flat abs in a couple months.

hope this helped... unfortunetly it will take more than a couple days to see a difference

  13. It's a shame you can't run, that's the best way to lose the pudge. It'll take longer doing the exercises you're doing. Those exercises are going to turn your fat into muscle, eventually, but its faster to lose the fat, THEN build up the muscle from whatever fat is left over. Try little things like quitting soda, stick to just water, juices, and Gatorade. Cut back on your carbs, like pastas and breads. Eat more vegetables if you can. I don't mean broccoli covered in Ranch dressing, get some celery and put peanut butter on it, you get vegetables and proteins that your body needs. Also, keep up with what you're doing. If you really want to, you can get something like a stair and walk up and down one stair (or if you have stairs in the house, run up and down them for a cardio work out) you could also always run in place. It might be boring, but put on the TV and run in front of it, chances are, you'll work out longer because you're watching TV and not even paying attention to the work out.

  14. eat alot of oranges and bananas. the vitamin c and potassium help get rid of fat. 1 a day should be good. or if your really serious, 1 per meal.drink tons of water. you should drink probably 2 liters per day. to achieve this goal, fill up a bottle in the morning with however much you want to drink, and work on finishing that by the time you go to bed. you are doing alot of muscle building, which is good, but wont burn any fat, only build muscle under the fat. you want to do cardio. since you cant go outside, why not jog in place or do jumping jacks. start out doing it for five minutes, then walk in place for 1 minute do that four times. or invest in one of those cardio dvds. i reccomend leslie sansone four mile walk. (its not as hard as it sounds) and then get more advanced videos as you get better. hope this helps.
