  1. Loose weight, eat healthy and exercise. Sounds too simple but it is very true and very reliable.

  2. Well I take 4 pills a day for high BP. Having HIGH BLOOD pressure is not always associated with being over weight or lack of exercise! thank you!

Some of us are just genetically predisposed to having it and not wanting to take medication is a matter of LIFE AND DEATH. High BP can and WILL KILL YOU!

However the number one thing that you can do is

stay away from processed foods, hot dogs, soups

prepackaged foods or ready made meals

Boxed mac n cheese,  burger restaurants, eating out everyday.

Lots of fresh fruits veggies and lean meats and fish. also a lot of package spice mixes contain a ton of salt, And no salt subsitutes are not now nor has it ever been a good alternative!

please dont toy around with your health and your life!

you only get one, make wise choices

  3. Reishi Ganoderma works at cell level on the entire body.  When cell is corrected, organs comprising of cells are corrected and thus our body comprising of organs is corrected.  Reishi Ganoderma protects body from diseases as well as disorders.   Suits anybody and everybody. Has no interaction with other lines of treatment,  It complements the same.  Overcomes the side-effects of other medications and relieves the patients.  No diet restriction.  Liberal dosage schedule, mega dosage not harmful at all.  No side effects, no addiction.  Gano is for everybody, healthy as well as unhealthy.  This single herb Gano gives recovery from the earlier ailments, maintenance of the present good health and protection from the future problems to health.

  4. You can do it easily with your diet:

Eliminate most of the salt, and that includes processed foods (packet soups and sauces are full of salt!), bacon, kippers etc.

Eliminate cheese (which contains a lot of salt!)

No coffee nor stimulants containing caffeine, cola, guaraná etc.

Avoid stressful situations as much as you can.

A little gentle exercice: brisk walking for one hour 3 times a week.

If cholesterol is in the picture, take 1.5 dl of oat bran (not oat meal nor flakes, but bran bought at health food stores) once a day and you will halve your cholesterol value in just about 2 months, lowering also your blood pressure.

I used to take my oat bran with a little fruit yoghurt for flavour and rice milk (I don't use cow milk, but you can if you want to). You can also bake muffins with it. 3 muffins a day are the dose you need.

Let me know if you want the recipes.

All the best to you and the best of health!

  5. i don't know why all the answer that says to exercise, eat healthy, etc. have thumbs down. unless you are trying with the easy way, but remember not everything that is easy ir right, or healthy for you. so whatever you do be careful, you only have one life to live.

    good luck!

  6. 3 bowls of Cheerios and some Quaker Oat meal every day!

  7. First off, exercise 5-6 days a week for a minimum of 30 minutes. Hike, bike, speed walk, run, cross training, swimming, etc. Add a couple days involving a little weights to help burn more calories and lower BP more. Next, watch your diet. Trade hamburger meat for ground turkey when cooking. Stick to skinless chicken b*****s. Whole wheats, low fat dairies, veggies, fruits, etc. Watch your calories intake. Watch saturated and trans fats. WATCH SALT!! Avoid chips, frozen foods, prepackaged meals, etc. Try adding a daily vitamin like Centrum Cardio or similar. Fish oil and garlic are good cheap alternatives to try. Co Q 10 works, but is pricey. Lastly, try simply sticking to plain water and low fat or fat free milk. Sodas (even diet), sugar free drinks, juices, etc all add sodium and increase BP. Reduce stress!

  8. Natural herbs can really help reduce high blood pressure.

Hawthorne Berry, for example, has been shown to improve blood circulation throughout the body. Even bodybuilders use it because it enhances their workouts.

Garlic is great. A recent study in the Journal of Hypertension showed that taking garlic could cut the incidence of stroke by 30-40% while cardiovascular disease could be reduced by 20-25%.

Capsicum Pepper is very powerful. In fact, the New England Journal of Medicine recently reported that the people of Thailand have virtually no blood clotting problems because this pepper is a staple of their diet.

You can buy these herbs separately, or try a multi-herbal supplement such as Hyperzosin. You might have heard about it on Oprah or CNN or read about it in newspapers like USA Today. It's a big deal because it lowers blood pressure without side effects.

  9. One thing you can do to release tension is easy breathing exercises. Really, it's tremendously easy, very good for you, and costs nothing.

Sit comfortably with your back straight. Use pillows if that helps. Relax. Let your shoulders hang weightless.

Breathe in slowly, through your nose if you can, through your mouth if you must. Fill your lungs. Breathe slowly. Don't think about anything but your breath. Hold it just a few seconds, and then breathe out, completely, Empty your lungs. Use some effort!

Repeat. This should be a slow, easy exercise.

What it will do is relax your body and your breathing while increasing the amount of air you actually process in your lungs, and if you breathe deeply, get stagnant air out. Try doing deep breathing exercises, always as relaxed as you can be, at least once a day.

That should start you out feeling a bit better. The next step is to start getting a bit more active. Do not overstrain yourself! Exercise sensibly-- do what makes you satisfyingly tired, not what exhausts you.

Next: eat sensibly. I know, you've heard this before, and you might think it's impossible, but it isn't. There are just a few things to remember. Quality is better than quantity. Eat good quality, nutritious food, and you will find that you need less to keep you going. If you find that getting hungry between meals is a real problem for you, try splitting your daily meals up so you get them four, five, or six times a day, but with the same all-day quantity overall. Snack endlessly on fresh vegetables like lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, cucumber and the like. Eat whole grains where possible and choose whole-grain bread. In a while, you'll probably find you no longer like the white stuff. By all means eat meat, eggs, whatever you want, but balance it.

Last thing: DO NOT SMOKE. If you smoke, QUIT. No wibbles on this. Just do it.

You don't have to turn your life completely upside down. Just a few small changes can make a big difference. Good luck!
