  1. dude why dont you try putting performance parts in it if you take out everthing out of your car then you r going to have long term battle with the balacing the car wieght the car weight is fine just add up horses

  2. Remove interior trim like carpet, radio and leather around the shift k**b and the center console and the dash.

That is all I can think of.

And replacing the glass windows with plastic ones like in race cars.

  3. try and upgrade with as much carbon fiber as you can and if your going to race i would wait until you are low on gas because believe it or not a full tank weighs in heavily.

  4. take the carpet out and replace without the padding under it or you can just keep it out, also the seats you dont use, and the dash who needs that i mean really just put the guages and thats it. also keep the original steel rims.

  5. why dont you just make it faster?

  6. You can replace the seats with some lighter weight racing seats.  Since you removed the rear seats, you should remove the seat belts as well.  Jack, door cards, lighter battery, even lighter tires will help.  You should also change to coil over suspension.  Not only are they much lighter than the stock units, you need them fro corner balancing since you are messing with the weight balance of the car by removing everything.  it's important to tune the weight balance back for optimal handling.  And by the way, don't waste money on a carbon fiber hood.  Our hoods are aluminum and are just as light as, if not lighter than any C/F hood out there.

  7. front passenger seat, windshield wiper fluid tank, intercooler spray tank, heat shields, dash board, carbon fiber drive shaft, light weight flywheel and clutch, spoiler, air bags, air conditioner, light weight pullys, the limits are nearly endless.

  8. replace all screws with plastic rubber screws they are the lightest and if you count how many bolts and screws you have in the numbers and lbs add up. you could try taking out the airbags and ac
