How can I make 32-bit programs run in 64-bit Vista?

My friend has "Vista Home Basic Edition", which comes in 64-bit Vista. Is there a way for her to run 32-bit programs? If so, how?

  2. 32-bit programs will run off the bat. iTunes comes in a 64-bit edition anyway. Just install and run as normal.

  3. Just install and run them.

  4. 64 bit Vista has a built in emulator that lets you run 32 bit software without any problems. But some older 32 bit programs use 16 bit drivers and they won't run on Vista 64 bit. The 16 bit subsystem that allows 32 bit windows to run 16 bit drivers and software isn't built into Vista 64 bit.
