get 8 large lemons juice them removeing seeds.put rinds in sauce pan cover with water cook about 15 min or so on med heat you want to extract flavor from rinds.remove rind with large spoon and discard in to trash add 1 1/2 cup sugar or aproperate amount of sweetener to hot lemon broth ster well to desolve put this mixture and juice in a gallon container fill with cold water add a few drops of red food colour or cool aid powder untill it reaches the colour of pink that you desire. you can make it eny colour you want green for st pattys day etc.i made this while in the navy and allthoe even god cannot please all peaple, moast peaple liked it too well you mite want to play with the sugar amount to suit youre self.as some like it more sour some like it sweeter and some as is..

drink it in a pink glass.

use grenadine

2 cups sugar

9 cups water

2 cups lemon juice

1 cup cranberry juice

Mix everything in a pitcher and stir until dissolved. Serve lemonade over ice.

Make regular lemonade and put a drop or two of red food coloring in it.  Then stir.
