  1. it'll be hard to get big power out of that. starting with a good V8 will allow you to get more power more easily. obviously many people can't just swap a crate engine in their cars. if you must stick with the 6, try looking up a good streetable cam and free flowing heads.

easiest and most effective way to make a car faster on all fronts is to make it lighter.

  2. Shorty Headers, Cold air induction, Dual Hi flow Cats. X pipe dual exhaust, computer chip.

That's about it without tearing the engine apart.

PS, you will find that you get a little better gas millage too!

  3. You can't, it weighs close to 3400 pound car and the cost to give enough horse power to even beat a nice running Acura would cost double what your car is worth.

A KN filter will not give you 20 hp, at best it gave you 4 hp.

Words of advice, don't waste money trying to make your V6 fast, next time buy a car with a real engine.  You chose slow over performance, live with it until you can buy a new car.

I suggest that you do modifications to improve mileage.

  4. save your money. this motor does not like turbos, superchargers or nitrous.  if you want to go fast--or faster... start with another motor. the 350 chevys are easy to come by and there are more parts made for them then any other motor on the planet ! easier, cheaper, and more reliable than your 3.4 motor.  keep it stock or keep it simple.. air box, mufflers etc...it wont hurt it and you'll still be able to get good milage and drive it everyday.. on top of the smog laws that you will most likey encounter... it wont pass with any true mods ..

  5. turbo, nitrous, why dont you research it on the internet

  6. see if you can find a super charger, or build a custom turbo set up. other than that your outta luck with that motor.

also a k&n and exhaust wont give you 25 hp, more like 5 combined if that.

  7. There's a lot of things that could make it faster.  I suggest you try establishing a budget first.  Decide how fast you would like your car to be and how much money you want to invest in it (unless you plan on keeping it for 30 years, remember that it will only go down in value).
