How can I make a Coil Gun?

Question

Like the parts I need, what composition for the barrel, the capacitors I should use, what wire and how thick to make the coil, what I should use for the charging unit, the power source and the projectile composition.

you can get capacitors from disposable cameras and the barrel from a bb gun, not sure about the coil

its more trouble than its worth
