How can I make a Friend when I am a deaf?

I am going into grade 8 this year in high school, its my first year of grade 8, I am deaf, I don't know how to make a friends there because it's I.B School, lot of hearing kids goes to that school, I just want to make new friends, I has some deaf friends there, I just want to make new friend, to getting know about them

Just be yourself, and remember that talking is overrated anyway.

Maybe you can have your friends talk to you on paper. Just try to start a conversation and introduce your self, so you can build a relationship with someone. If you didn't learn how to talk yet then just write on paper.

Some people that you see at your school who look nice just go up to them and say hi my name is ___.

I remember high school... all it takes is just one of two things.  1) Good sense of style.  If you look good, most people tend to gravitate towards you.  2) Having a unique skill.  Are you really good at something?  You should definitely show it off... this will get people curious about you.

just keep ur deaf friends theer more like u and u will enjoy them more.

But you need to make sure that people know that you have a regular personality, and aren't weird. Let them know that on the inside you are just a normal person trying to make friends.
