How can I make a Gilmore Girls themed sweet sixteen?

Me and my best friends favorite show is Gilmore girls and we wanted to make our 16th birthday party themed that. How would we do that?

Have a whole bunch of junk food.

Watch movies like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Casablanca, Sixteen Candles, Fatso, Final Destination, The Yearling, Riding the Bus with My Sister, etc.

Music---Listen to Bangles,The Go-Go's, Sam Phillips (She does most of the music actually in the episode...the la, la, la part)  She has actual songs that those are taken from...How to Dream is one of them and also Reflecting Light, Love is Everywhere I go, Where the colors don't go, Don't Know how to say goodbye, Taking Pictures, and If I could write are also in some of the episodes.

Food---Pizza, Chinese Food, Lots of Junk food (Pop Tarts, Tator Tots, French Fries, Mallomars, Red Vine Licorice, Toblerones, etc.)

Also Drink Coffee or if you don't like coffee maybe coffee flavored drinks

Games---Bagel Hockey (Like they did at Luke's)

Maybe you could make up a Gilmore Girls Trivia Game to Play.

Decorations---Make it look like Luke's Diner with his no cell phones sign and mismatched chairs and tables.

Costumes---You could wear tierras and boas like Rory did at her 16th birthday party.

Well there are a couple of things I think you could do:

a) have lunch/dinner at a diner or a small country inn

b) try to come up with a bunch of funny things that maybe Lorelai and Rory would say but for yourselves.

c) make a friday movie night: watch a bunch of CLASSIC movies with some burgers, chinese food, indian food, junk food, etc.

movies could be: Casablanca, Hard bodies, or anything they mention in any episode ^.^

[but remember, no phones! and no talking! and you have to get all situated before a movie starts so that you don't distract others from the movie! lol]

maybe you could do like a lukes diner theme (mismatched tables and chairs, the no cell phones signs, coffee,)

or get everyone a gilmore girls shirt (i bet they're cheap), eat a ton of junk food, watch casablanca...:P
